Welcome to Big White Resort, the only true ski-in/ski-out resort in Canada. This is a fact, especially knowing that the ski industry considers any accommodation within 500 meters of a run as ski-in/ski-out.

In endeavoring to rate the ski-in/out access of our units, it should be said because everyone at Rentchalets lives and works on the mountain we have high standards when it comes considering ski access. With that being said, even the lowest rating by our system is still ski-in/ski-out. You never have to get in your vehicle and ride to a parking lot to put on your cold boots in the front seat of a vehicle. Even though you may see a rating of ‘1’, do not be overly deterred. The average skier can access their Big White Resort chalet at any location easily and comfortably at nearly anytime during the ski season.

If a ski run borders the property of your chalet or uses a designated ski trail, it is granted the highest rating of ‘3’. If you have to ski less than one hundred meters down a snow covered road or have to cross a road, it is given a rating of ‘2’. If you have to ski more than one hundred meters on a snow covered road or trail it is given a rating of ‘1’. For those of you who have stayed with us before, you know Big White Resort has superior ski access when compared to our neighboring ski hills, and we don’t mind saying so.

We are spoiled at Big White Resort and this rating system reflects that happy fact.
