Skiing
By far, the most popular activity and the reason this resort is here today is for the great skiing. Big White is home to 112 designated trails as well as 27 unnamed trails all with a variety of skill levels from beginner to expert. To assist you up the mountain, Big White has 13 lifts including; 4 high-speed quad chairs, and an 8-passenger high-speed gondola. Ski from the first crack of dawn to late afternoon, and after a short break, head out on the largest night skiing area in Western Canada. Purchase a half day or full day ticket or buy a multi-day lift pass, which offers night skiing when available. Contact our office staff for prices and details.
Snowboarding
Looking to try something different on the slopes? Why not trade in your skis and strap your feet to a snowboard. Big White has recently invested in the long-awaited Super Pipe as well as a one of a kind super pipe-grooming machine. Along with the beginner half pipe and 3 terrain parks, Big White is a great experience for riders of all skill levels. 2005 brings a brand new olympic standard snow boarding park ... too much fun!
