RentChalets Reservation Policies

RentChalets is a trusted vacation home management company and we pride ourselves on our professional policies and procedures.  We believe we have found a harmonious balance between serving the needs of our guests stay in Big White and looking after the interests of our property owners.

Before you book

Finding the correct property for you, our staff have the best local knowledge to assist you with your choice of accommodation.
Let us help you check your property details and location before you book to ensure you have the best possible experience with RentChalets.


When you book

Just pay the deposit to secure your booking.
You are required to sign sign a Reservation/Booking Policy.  By signing the agreement we understand the you have read the booking confirmation and confirm the dates and property you have booked.
Travel insurance - please ensure you have a good travel insurance to cover you for unexpected cancellations, for ski holidays please consider sports insurance.
After 48 hours deposit is non refundable.



After you book

Full payment is required 30 days prior to your arrival, we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cheque or Money Orders must be in Canadian Dollars.  
We will fully inform you of your check in procedure by email 7 days prior to arrival.
We ask that you sign a Property Care Agreement via Adobe Sign prior to arrival.  By signing the agreement we understand the you have read, understood and accepted our rental policies.

All you vacation information, including your door code for your stay is in the RentChalts APP. Download from the Apple APP store or Google Play.


What To Expect in Your Rental Residence

RentChalets Big White rental properties are equipped with the following:

  • cookware
  • coffee makers
  • crockery
  • glassware
  • iron and ironing board
  • kettles
  • microwaves
  • toasters
  • utensils
  •  BBQ’s are in most properties and the gas bottles are provided and filled.  

Internet connection is available in most RentChalets properties free of charge.

Television and DVD Players are also in all properties.


Linens and Towels that we supply based on total occupancy of the Residence:

  • dish towels
  • quality bed linens
  • bath towels
  • hand towels
  • face cloths.
  • hot tub/pool towels are also provided when required


Consumables that we stock your rental Residence with are:

  • box of quality tissues in every bathroom
  • disposable dish clothes
  • dishwasher detergent
  • dish soap
  • laundry detergent
  • paper towels
  • soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion
  • toilet paper

Our green credentials

At RentChalets we use PlanetClean products as we know they share our vision of using healthier cleaning products for the benefit of our staff and our environment.

There is growing evidence that green cleaning programs not only provide benefits to cleaning staff, but also to building occupants and visitors. More building owners are switching to green cleaning products and techniques or are asking that their cleaning service provider use environmentally sound cleaning practices. -PlanetClean

Where possible RentChalets operates in a paperless environment to reduce our Carbon Footprint.

 

Housekeeping

Housekeeping is a service that can be provided at a cost of $40.00 per hour + GST. All RentChalets properties are cleaned upon departure, however we do ask that you load and start the dishwasher.

RentChalets can accommodate for most events and group bookings if you would like  help to organize a special event please contact info@rentchalets.com.

Getting married?  Imagine your special day in the snow with your bride arriving on horse drawn sleigh or even a snowmobile!  Bring your guests we have room for them too.   Big White is a unique location for a wedding and we can help organize the whole event!  

Hot Tub Service

You have a private hot tub in your residence. Maintained by Rentchalets service technicians using the latest technology to ensure a perfectly balanced hot tub during your stay.

Noise and Environment

During your vacation we ask that you enjoy your accommodation with respect,  please understand that you are vacating in a home and we ask that you treat it that way.   

Noise should be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10.00pm and 8.00am.

RentChalets staff are committed to guest services and aim to provide you with the best possible experience, we ask that your dealings with our staff remain courteous.

Please also respect our local environment, wildlife, residents and dispose of your rubbish appropriately.

In the ski locations please abide by the Alpine Code of Responsibility and remain within the ski resort boundaries at all times.

 

Parking

Please park in designated areas only, road parking in ski areas is not permitted and cars will be towed if illegally parked.

 

Pets

RentChalets pet-friendly properties are highlighted with a photograph of our in house RentChalets pet husky “Ghost”!  

Ghost is well loved by our staff and guests!

Please note if you do wish to bring your pet on holiday that you are responsible for looking after it!  Please do not leave the pet unattended in the property, remember that dogs are required to be on leash at all times in British Columbia according to the BC Municipal ByLaw.

Please always carry the appropriate disposal bags to clean up after your pets.

There is an extra fee of $25.00 per/night per pet.

Smoking

In compliance with  BC tabacco control laws smoking is not permitted in RentChalets properties a smoking fine $200.00 will be charged to your credit card if you smoke inside a RentChalets Property.  If smoking outdoors please dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately.

 

Lost Property

RentChalets are not responsible for any personal items left behind on departure however we will endeavor to return your property by post at a cost to you.

Our staff at RentChalets have a goal to create the best possible holiday experience for you, we value your feedback and we are always ready to hear what you have to say.  Repeat guests and referrals are a big part of our clientele and we would like our business to remain that way.

Information We Collect:

Reservation Request Form: The information collected is used for the purposes of quoting a price and accepting a request for a hotel stay. The details of your stay with RentChalets  will be retained for booking future reservations and responding to your inquiries.

E-Newsletter Subscriptions: The information collected is used to channel information to those who have opted in to receive periodic emails from RentChalets with exclusive offers, last minute deals, etc.
