The Reservation and Cancellation Policy
RentChalets has a policy of renting to adults of the age of majority. Upon arrival the credit card used to book the property must available to be presented and confirmed as that of the renter. All guests must be named and ages given by the time of check in. We reserve the right to refuse any booking if the information provided is incorrect. Monies are non refundable.
The number of guests in the property must not exceed the maximum advertised number.
Number of Adults Number of Children is Required
Rentchalets requires a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total due. The reservation deposit is due immediately if paying by credit card or within 10 days of the booking date if paying by certified cheque or money order. This non-refundable reservation deposit is applied to rental cost.
RESERVATIONS MADE OUTSIDE 30 DAYS OF ARRIVAL: From the date of the original booking, you have up to 10 days to cancel the reservation without penalty. (Eg: if you book your reservation August 10th you have up August 20th to cancel). After 10 days, the deposit is non-refundable should you cancel.
RESERVATIONS MADE BETWEEN 30 & 0 DAYS OF ARRIVAL: At the time of booking, RentChalets requires full payment to confirm the booking for all other RentChalets properties.
We require a security/damage deposit of $600.00 with every reservation. The security/damage deposit is not processed or deposited unless there is damage to the property noted after the stay. Any fines imposed by strata for violation of the strata rules will be deducted from the security/damage deposit. Please note that all of our accommodations are non-smoking and that pets are only allowed in specific units.
All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars
Credit Card Is required at Check in for $600 security deposit.
SPA RULES AND SAFETY REGULATIONS
Hot Tub, Deck and Balcony are an ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK AREA. Everyone must shower BEFORE and ESPECIALLY AFTER using the spa.
DO NOT USE SPA IF:
You are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or if your taking any medication affecting blood pressure.
You have high blood pressure or any other medical concerns.
You have health concerns. You should then consult a physician before using the spa.
You are pregnant.
You have open sores or wounds.
Do not use spa if you cannot obey these rules. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your conduct in the hot tub. Lack of judgement or common sense and failure to comply with these rules puts all liability and additional cleaning costs in your hands.
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
Children under the age of 12 or the elderly MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY AN ADULT. They must be prevented from overheating in the spa. Average time: 7-15 mins at 104 'F or 40 'C.
Children under the age of 6 should always have their ears properly rinsed after leaving spa.
Extended time in the spa can cause hypothermia.
Leave floating chemical dispenser in the spa at all times. Do not remove or adjust, proper chemical balance is dependent on the puck dispenser being in the spa.
Be aware of the slippery condition on the deck, steps and sitting surfaces.
Horse play can be unsafe and is discouraged.
NO GLASS OF ANY KIND IN THE SPA.
If you do not use common sense and discretion, all of the above increases the possibility of injury and infection.
AFTER USING THE SPA PLEASE:
Turn jets down to circulation speed and close all air inlet controls.
Leave floating chemical dispenser in spa.
Replace cover back on spa, handle with care, do not sit or step on it.
Water level should be maintained at mid skimmer level or 5 inches below top of tub.
