- Accounting Administrator - Permanent Full Time

In this role you will do all entries, analyze and manage a full set of books of a well established and growing small company in the rental agency industry.  In addition, you will manage a home owner’s program by liaising with the reservation team and owners to provide timely and detailed monthly statements to all owners.  We currently have a portfolio of 75 properties.

Skills and Experience:
Ø A solid understanding of the accounting cycle
Ø Minimum 3 years in an accounting role
Ø Knowledge of Simply Accounting
Ø Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ø Excellent computer skills, proficient in Word and Excel
Ø Excellent organization skills
Ø Ability to prioritize work load under time pressure
Ø Experience with a rental agency or property management company would be preferred

Responsibilities:
Ø Manage a full set of books to financial statements – A/R, A/P, bank deposits, payroll, collections, government remittances, purchasing and customer invoicing
Ø Provide financial knowledge and expertise to the company as requested
Ø Identify and implement efficiencies that can be achieved through improved financial systems or other means
Ø Monthly reconciliations
Ø Cash flow management and forecasting
Ø Monthly owner payouts
Ø Analyze monthly financial results and report on any trends


- Reservation agents - Full & Part Time seasonal Oct - Apr

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Telephone Reservations including accommodation, shuttle, and lift tickets and any other requested activities or services
Ø Check and answer reservation faxes and emails
Ø Answer and assist all incoming telephone callers
Ø Courtesy calls to all in-house guests
Ø Ensure accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to all Rentchalets products
Ø Ensure all bookings made adhere to Rentchalets Reservations payment and cancellation policies
Ø Check-ins
Ø General office duties
Ø Assist Reservations Manager with any reasonable requests or tasks

- Guest Relations - Full Time seasonal Oct - Apr

Rentchalets at Big White is looking for a dynamic, experienced individual who can work with our guests to ensure they have a magical experience. Liaising with guests prior to their arrival, acting as concierge during their stay and dealing with any issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner will be required. Join a great team on a beautiful mountain this winter.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Review weekly reports with respect to guest requests, early check-ins, and lift tickets to ensure that all guest expectations are met
Ø Deal with any guest complaints
Ø Telephone Reservations including accommodation, shuttle, and lift tickets and any other requested activities or services
Ø Answer and assist all incoming telephone callers
Ø Courtesy calls to all in-house guests
Ø Ensure accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to all Rentchalets products
Ø Basic office manager
