It's been just over 4 years since Lisa Smith started her dream with Lisa's Bistro in Christina Lake, British Columbia, joining the Christina Lake Living Arts Centre. Focusing on locally-grown produce and homemade items, everything from soups to salad dressings, is made from scratch. Bread from the local bakery- From the Hearth, and a lot of stuff from Huckleberry Market in Christina Lake as well. Lisa has been in the restaurant industry since she was just 16 years old, and she jumped at the chance to be opening her own business. Along with coffee and tea, we also have a variety of liquors and locally made/organic beers to choose from. We offer healthy servings of breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have gluten-free, dairy free, grain free options for almost every single aspect of our menu, and dairy alternatives as well.
We have a prime location, causing almost 90% of our business to come and stop by Lisa's Bistro on their way to their destinations, as we're located in the visitor's centre in Christina Lake. Lisa often told customers that if there wasn't something they wanted on the menu, then order it, because she has the ingredients to make it. Lisa's often telling her staff about "keeping it old school and new school at the same time", and they love the philosophy behind that. Lisa has now established dinner specials for every night of the week. "Life can be hectic, so taking a break is a great way to relax. Whether you're listening to the laughter and banter, or taking your tea outside to sit under a tree people should be able to take a break and feel relaxed". We look forward to seeing and serving you and your family in the future.
